Tie-Dyed Tree

I like trees. I even have favorite trees. There's the big spruce that towered over a corner of my childhood house -- you could walk "into" it and be surrounded by sappy-smelling boughs. There's the tree that grew or eroded straight out over the lake in my hometown -- you could shimmy along the trunk and sit over the water. And then there's this knockout. Every year, this maple two doors down throws out the most vivid tie-dyed display in the neighborhood. It's got every color from green to bright red, and against a clear blue sky, well, it's photo worthy. Enjoy!
