Phew! Matthew spent some quality time at a copy shop last night, printing and copying his 250-page dissertation and carefully bringing the copies home in these cardboard boxes. Today, he delivered them to his advisor who will, in turn, deliver them to the members of his defense board. While this is a huge step toward being "done" with his PhD, there is still the ominous defense itself with just about two months in between to "study" as much as possible. And then we can bust out the big bottles of the bubbly and toast to the end of an era.
Way to go, hon. I'm so proud of you!
